[. . . ] If the battery level becomes low in the course of normal use, recharge the device. Normally, you can use the wall charger to recharge your device. Additionally, you can also use the Mini USB Sync and charge cable to recharge your Acer e300 Series Travel Companion. However, this may be difficult when there's no available computer on hand. When your device battery is drained while on the road, you can still recharge your device by using either the car charger cable bundled with your device. Recharging time from empty to full capacity is about 2. 5 hours in all cases. If the battery level reaches very low status, the device will automatically turn off. In this case, you have about 12 hours to recharge your device after which you risk losing all data on the device's internal memory. In case all data is lost, the next time you power on the device you will be prompted to restore the data. The Acer e300 Series Travel Companion can be turned on without battery, it should be connected to an AC power (car charger, AC adapter) and the battery cover covered. The Acer e300 Series Travel Companion will not go into suspend mode automatically, if you don't plan to use it for a long period of time, you should turn off the power to save battery. 24 Acer e300 Series Travel Companion Acer e3XX Series fundamentals To recharge the device using the car charger: Use the car charger to recharge your device while it is mounted on your vehicle. To recharge the device using the USB cable: The Mini USB Sync and charge cable that comes with your device enables you to connect your device to a computer running on the Microsoft Windows platform. When connected, the device battery is also recharged via the USB connection. Go to the "Establishing device-PC connection" section for instructions on how to connect your Acer e300 Series Travel Companion to a computer. You cannot simultaneously charge the device while transferring files thru the USB cable. Search for the file you want to play. Tap up/down arrow or use the jog dial to scroll through all available files. 3. Tap a file or press the jog dial to start playback of the selected file. o When the file is located in the root directory, tap the file for playback. o When the file is located inside a sub-directory, tap the subdirectory icon; then tap a file for playback. Files in the same directory will also be played provided the Repeat function is disabled. To rearrange the playback sequence: Each directory containing supported music files is considered a play list.
